This Privacy Policy explains how Trend Pro (the “App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, stores, protects, and handles information when users install, access, or use the Trend Pro application.

Trend Pro is a media player application designed for Android and Android TV devices. The App functions as a player interface that allows users to play media from sources, playlists, portals, URLs, or service configurations provided by the user or by an authorized third-party service provider.

Important: Trend Pro is only a media player. Trend Pro does not provide, sell, host, stream, broadcast, upload, manage, promote, or distribute television channels, movies, series, playlists, subscriptions, live TV packages, video-on-demand libraries, or other media content.

The App does not include commercial built-in channels, commercial built-in playlists, or built-in media libraries for end users. Any demo playlist, if available, is provided only for app testing, demonstration, or platform review purposes and does not represent a paid media service or a content subscription.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Trend Pro application and related activation or technical services used to verify authorized use of the App. It does not apply to third-party websites, external services, playlists, media servers, hosting providers, payment providers, IPTV providers, content providers, or any external content sources that may be configured for use with the App.

2. Nature of the App and Content Disclaimer

Trend Pro is strictly a media player application. It is designed to play media streams or media files from sources configured by the user or by an authorized third-party service provider.

Trend Pro does not host, store, upload, stream, broadcast, retransmit, index, promote, or distribute any third-party content. Any content accessed through the App is provided independently by the user or by a third-party service provider. We do not control, verify, endorse, monitor, or assume responsibility for such content, its availability, legality, licensing status, or rights.

Users and service providers are solely responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and legal authorization to access, provide, configure, or use any content played through the App.

Trend Pro is not a content provider, broadcaster, IPTV operator, streaming service, cable operator, satellite provider, television network, movie provider, or video-on-demand provider. Installing or using the App does not include, unlock, sell, or grant access to any media content, channel package, playlist, subscription, or streaming service.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any URL, playlist, portal, stream, file, service, or source configured inside the App is lawful and authorized. Users must not use the App to access, play, distribute, or facilitate unauthorized, infringing, illegal, or unlicensed content.

Trend Pro may restrict or disable access to activation or technical services where there is evidence of abuse, misuse, unauthorized access, or violation of applicable laws or platform policies.

11. Advertising and Tracking

The App does not use user data for third-party advertising purposes and does not intentionally include behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or sale of personal information. If advertising or analytics services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

The App itself does not use browser cookies in the same way as a traditional website. Server-side logs or security systems may record technical connection information such as IP address, request time, device type, app version, and response status for security, diagnostics, and service reliability.

How to request data deletion:

  2. Use the subject: Trend Pro Data Deletion Request.
  3. Include enough information to identify the related activation record, such as Device Key, MAC address or device identifier, and the email address used for support if applicable.
  4. We may request additional verification information before processing the request to prevent unauthorized deletion.

After a valid deletion request is verified and processed, the related activation record and associated configuration data will be deleted or anonymized where legally and technically possible. The App may no longer be able to access the configured service unless it is activated again.

Some limited information may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or backup integrity.

18. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and is not intended for use by children without parental or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

For this App, the following categories may apply depending on the final implementation: Device or other IDs, App info and performance, App activity, and Personal information only if users provide email address, name, or support details.

We do not sell personal information, rent personal information, or use collected activation, device, or configuration information for third-party advertising sales.

24. Account, Activation, and Service Access

Access to the App may depend on a valid activation status. If a device is deleted, expired, suspended, or not authorized, the App may block access and display an activation or portal screen. This processing is necessary to maintain app security and prevent unauthorized access.

25. Demo or Review Access

The App may include a temporary or limited demo playlist or review configuration for testing, demonstration, or app store review purposes. Such demo access is provided only to allow the App’s technical functionality to be reviewed and does not constitute a media subscription, paid content package, or commercial content service. Demo access may be changed, limited, or removed at any time, subject to platform review requirements and app functionality testing needs.
